1st September 2003 - New look web-site

Phosphor Technology is proud to unveil a new look to its web-site. To mark our move to new, larger premises PTL is introducing this updated look to its web-site. All the information that was present on the old site is available but has also been checked and updated to ensure that what is presented is correct.

The product categories shown on this site has expanded with the inclusion of phosphors designed for the conversion of blue LED to white light. There is also a section for detection devices that we supply. Currently this section contains devices used to detect the presence of infra-red to visible upconverting materials. Don't forget though that we can also supply many products not listed on this site, just call or e-mail us to discuss your requirements.

15th April 2005 - New Lab Opening

Phosphor Technology is pleased to announce the opening of a new lab. As part of the on-going expansion of Phosphor Technology's capacity that began with the move to larger premises in 2003 a new, custom-designed, laboratory area has been fitted out. This new lab area will increase production capacity by over 50% so that we can continue to match the increasing number of orders placed by our customers.

The new lab area is capable of handling production from the initial stages right through to packaging ready for despatch to the customer. We have drawn on our experiences to produce an efficient layout that ensures products are produced on-time to specification with little or no wastage. Environmental considerations have also been addressed with the incorporation of a second scrubber unit to treat fume emissions.

With this increase in capacity we expect to maintain the continuous growth we have experienced since the company was founded.

1st September 2003 - Phosphor Technology moves to new premises

Phosphor Technology is pleased to announce a move to larger, custom designed, premises.

After continuous growth since its inception Phosphor Technology Ltd has outgrown the original premises in Nazeing, Essex. With an increased area approximately seven times that of the Nazeing site the new site in Stevenage, Herts will serve PTL for many years to come.

The move occurred after a long search to find just the right building suitable for PTL's requirements. After acquiring the site PTL then arranged for the interior to be outfitted to provide enhanced facilities for the production of phosphors. Plus further scope for expansion is available to match PTL's expected future growth.
